Two drummers, Daniel Hobi and Dominik Huber, are holed up in Castle in the French Pyrenees. Their utter isolation focuses their energy on gathering wood to fend off the unusually cold winter, and on recording sessions, resulting in the basic tracks for an album.

Yet another drummer, Dominic Oppliger, has since then joined The Legendary Lightness, as they embarked on 30 concerts in Switzerland and Germany.

The first album “Ancient Greek Breakfast Club” appears on April 1st, 2011 on the label “Anker Platten”. Warm guitar sounds, organs and vocal harmonies form the core of this album: the subtleties which reveal their true size in a song. And most importantly, the album demonstrates the drummers’ secret yearning for melody.

“Ancient Greek Breakfast Club” will be launched on Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 in the Club “Exil” in Zurich. The single and the video to the song “Blue Light turns to Grey” will be released on February 25th.
