Pete's star has been rising for some time now, with tours supporting the likes of Ocean Colour Scene and headline shows where he has been joined by former Oasis guitarist Bonehead. A favourite of Creation Records founder Alan McGee, Pete has remained fiercely independent, releasing his own singles, EP's and albums through his ModRock Music label with considerable success Pete performed throughout the UK in 2012, headlining show's at Glasgow's King Tut's and supporting acts at all of the o2 Academies up and down the country, including London's Islington o2 Academy and Notting Hill Arts Club Pete has also been actively performing further a field showcasing his talent's in various venues in and around California and also that famous city Hamburg, Germany, where one of Pete's biggest influences, The Beatles once cut their teeth Recently upon his return from living in California, Pete self-released the EP titled "Glasgow keep's me real, California let's me heal" The EP was available and free to download from Pete's website The first track on this extended play release, "Rolling Stone", wa chosen by BBC Radio Scotland's Janice Forsyth as single of the month and is also championed by Scotland's voice for new music, Jim Gellatly BBC Radio 2's Janice long has also announced her love for Pete's music by saying Pete is "Absolutely amazing" and choosing one of Pete's songs as her "Janice loves" for her show. Pete has been attracting many new friends and fans along the way on his musical journey which include Brian Jonestown Massacre's Anton Newcombe, who invited MacLeod out to his studio in Berlin to record some of Pete's songs together 2013 promises to be an exciting year for Pete and his loyal listeners as he is currently recording his debut LP for Alan McGee's new 359 Music label.
