The 21-year-old force to be reckoned with is from the small town of Petal, Mississippi with big country dreams. Her first singing experience came from a children’s choir at only five years old. At 11, she became a member of ‘Heart N Soul Sisters’, a trio that performed for various groups and organizations including the Salvation Army’s Boys and Girls Clubs and Women’s Conferences.
From there, she went on to win the Mississippi Pecan Festival Talent Contest. Her talents allowed her to land the part of Sandy in a production of Grease at only 12 years old.
Ray was accepted into the highly popular award winning show choir, Soundstations, travelling nationally and performing at the Grand Ole Opry House.
At 16 years old, Ray decided she wanted to mix her love for charity and music by self producing a Christmas album, The Gift of Giving. Proceeds from the cd went to charity. A local hospital featured the story in their magazine.
