"We've been to Berlin / We've been to New York / But these are places / Without faces. / We've been to London / And to Stockholm / There we are strangers / Living in danger." No way!
One Two Three Cheers And A Tiger aren't from Berlin, New York, London or even Stockholm. A little room in Vienna is where it all started. Since July 2008 the band has been constructing songs from the blueprints of mastermind Andreas, and you realise, in a flash, these guys know what they're doing. Though their musical parents might be hard to track down, it is clear that the godfather of rock n roll, great britain, is their legal guardian. Where exactly their wild, unruly sound may come from, is then again another question. Moving out of that little room and on to a bigger stage might just be the beginning of their conquering the world. Virtually, they have already been attracting quite some attention- their songs are known widely from their myspace page and they have even had tracks (still demos) included in two major Austrian movie projects and official soundtracks. And all this quite a while before their first album was even finished.
The explosive debut, "Less Than The Half Price" was released in 03/2009 on the Vienna-based label "Wohnzimmer Records". Having toured for one and a half year in Austria and Germany, the band is now writing songs for the second longplayer, which will be released in autumn 2011.
