Originally from Japan with a bi-racial/bi-cultural background, she started her musical endeavors studying classical piano and voice at a young age, eventually moving onto choral, and jazz vocal studies. She went onto pursue her undergraduate degree in music, and is continuing her musical pursuits as a singer, song-writer, and DJ, specializing in old school funk, disco, soul, and jazz.

She is affiliated with a DJ/producers 'collective' team, Audio Chemists LLC, where she has led the start of a DJ/music production school, Audio Chemists Institute. (acinstitute.net)
