As one of the most brilliant uplifting trance duos of the moment, and coming from the biggest country in Africa, with one of the most wonderful Saharan deserts in the world, Algerians Kheireddine Amenna and Medi Bellebna (Kheiro & Medi), a.k.a (Subimpact), have already left their mark on the music world.
Kheiro & Medi, both born in 1990 in Oran (Algeria), are music lovers. At an very young age they fell in love with trance music and always dreamed of being producers themselves. They could barely find time for studio production because of their work (they are both doctors), but their love for the music and for sharing it with people around the world was bigger and they found the time.
Their career-launching releases in 2012, under the alias 'Subimpact', included ‘Someone Like You’, ‘Every Heartbeat’, and a banging remix for Morvan ‘Anima’. 2013 saw the real beginning of their new project alias (Kheiro & Medi) (incl. ‘Rise Above EP’ ‘Trance Temple’ and ‘Kheng Nettah’). This was pure melodic uplifting trance with an oriental touch that got a lot of support from Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Sean Tyas, and many more.
2014 started with huge promise: a huge remix for Akira Kayosa & Hugh Tolland's ‘Majefa’, a collaboration with Sunset (‘Cleopatra’), a new EP signed to GO ON AIR (Ottaviani’s brand-new label), and their first Armada contract (from FSOE), featured on ‘Trance Nation’ (Ministry of Sound) mixed by Aly & Fila.
