Lingua come from Stockholm, Sweden and started out in the year 2000. Rising from the ideas of Misha Sedini (guitar) and Thomas Henriksson (vocals) the sparks took flame as Patrik Juutilainen (drums) and Anders Carlstr?m (bass) joined the band. Spending hour after hour improvising and creating music they quickly found their musical core: hard hiting rock yet melodical and at times meditative and ambient.
They recorded their first demo in 2001 and as soon as they started playing gigs they gained rumor of being an intense live act. After what seemed like years of recording demos they got contracted by Mascot Records and in 2006 their debut album "The Smell of a Life That Could Have Been" was released.
They released their second album "All My Rivals Are Imaginary Ghosts" in 2010. The music still has the same sound but the songs are far more intense and energetic.
