We Rise The Tides is a metalcore band hailing from Portland, OR. Through hard work, dedication and raw passion, We Rise The Tides has created a name for themselves and have achieved a lot in the year and a half that they have been a band. The intimate relationship that they have with their fans has made them a well respected band to music lovers and their hard hitting live performances have earned the respect of fellow bands all along the west coast and beyond. With a solid "cult” following that is constantly growing, We Rise The Tides is ready to make the next step in their musical career and to spread their powerful message to the masses.
Within the first four months of being a band, the group signed a one album deal with Sacramento, CA based record label “Crown & Anchor Records” and set off to record their debut EP, “Carrier” with Aaron Pauley (Ex Jamie’s Elsewhere/Of Mice & Men). The music video for their first single “Rejection” sparked a lot of attention and quickly became a crowd favorite. After the EP dropped, the band set off on a tour that spanned six states (WA, ID, UT, NV, CA & OR) and immediately caught the attention of fans all over. Shortly after the tour, they departed with their drummer and guitarist and were met with a major backlash online, but the band refused to quit. Proving how driven they are, We Rise The Tides quickly replaced both members and came back even stronger than before with their newest single “Five Months”, which was released in February 2013 and reached over 19,000 views in under one month on youtube. After releasing the single, the band hit the road again for a highly successful west coast tour run that saw many returning fans as well as countless new fans at the concerts.
We Rise The Tides has shared the stage with national acts such as Falling In Reverse, Of Mice & Men, Pierce The Veil, Secrets, Like Moths To Flames, D.R.U.G.S, and countless others and they are now one of the go-to bands for Portland area promoters. The band also earned a spot on the “Rockin' Roots” festival 2012 in Bakersfield, CA as well as the Portland, OR date of the 2013 Vans Warped Tour. The band shows no signs of slowing down and now seeks a new label and management to help them get on tour full time and conquer the scene. With or without a label, We Rise The Tides will never stop moving and will always be hungry for success.
