Words & Rhymes (consisting of Wordsmith/Gregory Rhymes) came together in 2007 during a chance meeting in Toronto, Ontario. The two quickly forged a musical duo and began recording together as a unit. In 2008 the pair released "Method To The Madness", a 21 song collection of tracks that featured some quality Canadian talent, and sold very well on the street upon it's release. The album is now available for free download. LINK: http://www.zshare.net/download/5130110582ff7d0a/ Since, the two have been working on several projects. The first, a full length album titled "Wrong Side Of The Tracks", which features appearances by Apathy, Reef The Lost Cauze, Doap Nixon, King Magnetic, Eternia, 9th Uno, Neenah and more, as well as production from Apathy, Beatkrieg(Poker & Merlin of Germany), C-Rius, D-Rec, Scumbag & Vokab. It is scheduled for release sometime early summer. The second project is produced entirely by Queens native C-Rius, who now resides in Toronto, and is titled "Why So C-Rius?". Featuring appearances from some of the underground's most reputeable rhyme spitters, such as Apathy, Celph Titled, Reef The Lost Cauze & Block McCloud, as well as Canadian heavyweights Eternia & Solitair, this record promises not to disappoint the true to life hip hop heads. With Wordsmith & Gregory Rhymes BOTH working on solo projects, as well as countless songs for mixtapes and compilations all over the world, the two have proven they're hungry, and are dedicated to keeping the heads fed with raw, underground music.
