Dustin J Burk began playing guitar and singing at the age of 10; he
started writing original music shortly after. As a young teen he picked up keyboards by translating everything he knew on guitar into piano format. He entered his school's talent show in 7th grade and played Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Child & Purple Haze on an Electric Guitar. After getting his first taste of a crowd's applause he knew, this was his calling.
He performed at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2006 with Westminster Academy's Honors Choir. He also won "Best Jazz Guitar Solo" award at the statewide competition called AllStar Music Festival in 2009. This was his first year playing Jazz. After experimenting with many genres and styles he combined his favorite aspects of Reggae, Pop, and Dubstep to create his final alias, PsoGnar.
