MainLine was formed in September 2010 and is already becoming a force in the New Orleans music scene. This 8-piece funk/soul ensemble is built from the mold of such great New Orleans acts such as the Soul Rebels, Rebirth and Dirty Dozen Brass Bands, but puts its own contemporary spin on the music by incorporating guitars, keyboards and drum kit to the brass band horn set-up. Their repertoire consists of original music, hits from some of the greats like James Brown, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Michael Jackson, and incorporates some New Orleans favorites and contemporary arrangements of today’s hits.

MainLine is becoming regulars on the New Orleans music scene, performing weekly at the Blue Nile and regularly at great venues such as The Maison and Balcony Music Club. The band brings a party atmosphere to any venue or event. You might even see a cook with them, grilling some of your favorite food, and a DJ keeping the party at a fever pitch!
