Cory Asbury is a worship leader, songwriter, and pastor currently based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Cory was raised in the mountains of North Carolina where he developed a deep love for music and songwriting. He began leading worship at his local church at age sixteen, and from there launched into full-time worship ministry at the International House of Prayer of Kansas City in 2005. In addition to countless worship sets spent in the prayer room, Cory's 8-year journey at IHOP-KC took him all throughout the US and abroad leading worship at various conferences and events. Cory has released two solo albums, Holy and Let Me See Your Eyes, which include well-known songs "Where I Belong", "So Good to Me", "Always Faithful", and "Jesus, Let Me See Your Eyes". Cory is also featured on numerous IHOP-KC compilation albums. He remains a featured worship leader at IHOP-KC's OneThing conference – an annual gathering of 25,000 young adults that takes place every December. In June of 2012, Cory and his family transitioned to Colorado Springs, Colorado to join New Life Church where Cory now serves as Associate Worship Pastor. In May of 2015, Cory joined the Bethel Music Artist Collective. Cory's passion is to lead people into a deeper relationship with Jesus, and his worship leading evokes a contagious desire to grow more in love with God. Cory remains dedicated to a lifestyle of prayer and to seeing the prayer movement continue to expand within the Church. Cory's wife, Anna, also shares a gift for music and prophetic worship. Currently they are enjoying raising their two beautiful children and walking out the adventure God is leading them on.
