The highly anticipated album, It’s Official by the Christian Recording Artists/Duo, Joint Heirs is finally here! The Missouri-based, two-member group is set to release its first album August 28th at Faith Assembly in Quincy, IL.
Joshua Williams (JWILL) and Manuel Holliday (The Kings’ Kid) decided in 2010 to take their music ministry to the next level of faith. Formerly known as the “Churchboyz,” a five-member Gospel Rap group formed in Hannibal, MO, these two pieced together their diverse styles and created an original sound that will undoubtedly shatter any preconceptions and rock the Christian music industry with its nontraditional style and unique sound.
The two members have been leaders on the Praise and Worship Team for almost a decade at Embassy Christian Center located in Hannibal, MO. Their paths to spiritual growth eventually merged into a friendship and dynamic partnership that has evolved into a promising career in music and ministry. While members of the Churchboyz they shared the stage with three-time Grammy winner and sister duo, Mary Mary along with Dove and Stellar award winner Fred Hammond.
Everyone is abuzz about the new album It’s Official and anxious for the release concert August 28th. Going totally secular with the production and beats, this album features production by Fred “BLAZE” Crawford who also produced the latest project from Deitrick Haddon entitled “CHURCH ON THE MOON” which debuted #1 on the Billboards Top Gospel charts. Also featured on the album is P-Dub, formerly known as Pretty Willie who left his mark in the Urban/Hip-Hop world, but leads a Christ-centered movement, Young Fly & Saved.
