Cristina Scarlat (born 3 March 1981 in Chiinau)[1] is a Moldovan singer. She will represent Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark with the song "Wild Soul".Cristina Scarlat is the winner of O Melodie Pentru Europe 2014, the Moldovan selection for Eurovision and go up on stage in Copenhagen with Wild soul.
The Scarlat beat the favorite of the public, Boris Covali, who got 4000 votes, far more than the singer, runner-up for the audience at home.
It 'was the jury, which was also attended by Nelly Ciobanu, the Moldovan representative in Eurovision 2009, handing the victory to Scarlat giving it the highest grades.
