August 2012...
Following another successful solo tour in Switzerland, Jaime has now officially released the album Winterborn.
Expanding on the sound of his debut EP True North, Winterborn features lush layered harmonies and further dark introspective songs alongside blistering, foot-stomping numbers delivered with the intimacy of Jaime's vocals.
He is currently rehearsing with a four-piece band for upcoming album launch shows in Brighton & Lewes.

October 2011…
Since the release of the True North EP in 2009, Jaime Regan has been on an extensive tour of New Zealand (taking in shows in Sydney, Australia on the trip home) and a tour of Switzerland, as well as playing gigs all over the UK, before taking a break from gigging to write and record new material.
This summer he began work on his new album, returning to Church Road Studios in Hove to work with producer Julian Tardo.
June 2009....
Jaime Regan is a British musician and singer-songwriter. After a few years of playing solo in Brighton, Jaime emigrated to New Zealand in 2003, where he formed his own indie-rock band, who quickly became popular on the local music scene and garnered a number of accolades from the national New Zealand Press for their atmospheric sound, energised performances and Jaime's distinctive voice.
However, torn between his family roots in the UK and the beauty of his newly-adopted home of New Zealand, Jaime finally returned to England after three years.
Arriving back in Brighton, he played solo for a short while, before forming a melodic rock band named Ghostbirds, who gigged regularly in London and their hometown. By the winter of 2008, however, disatisfaction with the pressures of keeping a live band together led Jaime to put himself into a self-imposed hibernation, writing solo songs and making stripped back, intimate home recordings.
Emerging in the spring of 2009, Jaime headed into Church Road Studios in Hove with a collection of demos, a headful of potential ideas and the intention of exploring the songs in the setting of a real studio, working with the talents of resident producer Julian Tardo. A few weeks later, the songs that would become the True North EP were wrapped in lush, layered vocal-harmonies, acoustic bass and Jaime's haunting vocals, but they still retain the warmth and intimacy of those home demos; the sound of a solitary singer playing his songs as though to a sole listener.
With the True North EP now complete, Jaime is preparing to take the songs out onto a live stage.
