The Lacs is an American musical duo which performs country rap and Southern rock . The duo is composed of Clay "Uncle Snap" Sharpe and Brian "Rooster" King. Their name is short for "Loud Ass Crackers".
The Lacs has recorded three albums for Backroad Records, a subsidiary of Average Joes Entertainment , an independent label co-owned by fellow country rap artist Colt Ford . Their second Backroad Records album, 190 Proof , entered the Billboard charts in April 2012.
