Alejandro Medina, (barrio de Almagro, Buenos Aires; de noviembre de 1949) es un bajista, compositor y cantante argentino de rock y blues. Formo parte de la banda Manal, una de las fundadoras del rock nacional,In 1965 he joined the group The Seasons Carlos Mellino, recording his first album in Microfón. At that time frequented the Di Tella Institute with their experiences of avant-garde art, La Perla del Once, The Modern and The Cave.
He joined the handful of rock musicians who gathered in Buenos Aires and gave rise to rock in Spanish. That group had its epicenter in the triangle formed by a poor night music venue called La Cueva, 2 Di Tella Institute (Florida 900) and Plaza France.3 Some of those groups and musicians pre-raft were: the Wild Cats (Litto Nebbia Cyrus Fogliatta, Kay Galiffi), The Seasons (Carlos Mellino, Alejandro Medina), The Beatniks (Javier Martínez, Pajarito Zaguri, Mauricio Birabent), The Mind (Daniel Irigoyen, Juan Rodríguez), The In (Francis Smith), Miguel Abuelo , Tanguito, Pappo, Oscar Moro and journalists and poets of the rock Pipo founding Lernoud and Miguel Grinberg.
