20 year old Brazilian producer Lukas Ruiz has dedicated himself to creating a unique brand of Nu-Disco that focuses on blending the sounds of retro synthpop with the innovative feels of the modern Deep House/Nu-Disco scene.

Growing up Lukas fell in love with the sounds of Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk and found inspiration in the music of the 80’s and 90’s; he began combining elements of these styles with the sexy feel of the Brazilian Dance scene and he became Vintage Culture.

The beginning of 2013 marked the birth of this project and has since garnered support from some of Deep House’s leading players such as Teenage Mutants, Betoko, Kolombo, Amine Edge & DANCE, Danny Daz e, Thomaz Krauze, Gabe, Saccao,Adriatique and more!

His recent signing to the forward thinking English label Chilli Mint marked the beginning of his ascension, and for him, the sky is the limit. You can expect big things from Vintage Culture in the near future, so keep an eye on this rising star as prepares to tour Europe and South America and deliver his dancefloor tested sound that is guaranteed to fuel the party and put a sexy strut in everyone’s steps.
