Adam Wakefield grew up in rural NH and started playing music at the age of 4. He left his hometown to study music at The New School Jazz and Contemporary Arts Program in New York City. After college he moved to Baltimore and started the regionally successful Soul/Funk band Old Man Brown. After 10 years in Baltimore he moved to Nashville in 2013 to pursue his songwriting career and ultimately start making a living in the music business. Since then he has shared the stage with mainstream artists such as Lee Brice, Ketih Anderson, Michelle Wright, and more. He is an accomplished piainst, organist, guitarist, vocalist and writer. He's studied Jazz, Rock, Blues, Soul, R&B, Funk, Afro-Cuban and as of late Bluegrass music.
