Karian Sang / Lil Precious
Born in Kingston, JA, the country known for leaving its footprints all over the world with its sweet sound of Reggae, Lil Precious started singing at a young age. She quickly discovered that her Jamaican ancestry blessed her with rhythm in her soul and a beautiful voice.
Over the years Lil Precious talents grew further as she performed at local shows, community events, boat cruises, clubs and talent shows. In 2003 Lil Precious entered the Star Maker contest and her unique voice and amazing dance talent captured the audience, making her the winner for the R&B category. The contest provided her with the opportunity to record three songs and a music video and get radio airplay for her hot single “Don’t”. Since then, Lil Precious has done numerous performances and award shows like The Reggae Music Appreciation Awards & Tribute to Bob Marley show and the Byron Lee Tribute show. She also had TV interviews on Caribbean Beats, various radio interviews and was chosen to be the cover girl for the brand new Mwinda magazine. Lil Precious was the head-lining artist for most of the events she performed at, which included Mic Connection Thursday, Wild Coyote Fridays, the R&B Hip-Hop Reggae Fashion Show, and Forbidden Saturdays at Fever. She also opened up for famous Reggae/Hip Hop/R&B performing artists Tanto Metro and Devante, Julie Black, Mr. Vegas, Collie Budz, Crooked Stilo and recently Beenie Man, Juelz Santana, Jason Derulo, and Girlicous.
Lil Precious’ first album first single “So Insane” was added to 11 Top 40 radio stations across Canada. In 2010 the second single “Ma Jam” has also been added to radio and TV ( Much Music/Much Vibe). April 2011 Karian Sang/Lil Precious recently won her five WRCMA awards.
During the last year Lil Precious has gotten a new image new songs and a more refined vision of what she wants and who she is as an artist and a person. With the new image comes a new name, we wanted a name that would match her new grown up look so it was only natural that we went with her real name Karian Sang.
Karian Sang and her manager have been working very hard on promoting her new more grown up image. Which as led to working with numerous producers and artist in the US.
